What We Do

You are not alone.
You are not forgotten.

Prism Restorative Justice is an outreach ministry at work in California State Prisons and L.A. County Jails and advocates on behalf of the most marginalized and disenfranchised in our society.

Guided by our Episcopal baptismal covenant to seek and serve Christ in all persons, strive for justice and peace among all people and promote the respect and dignity of every human being. We are engaged in spiritual care and companionship with the incarcerated community in the L.A. County jails.

Prism advocates for criminal justice reform and the dismantling of systems of mass incarceration. We are committed to bringing a voice to the struggle of the most marginalized in our society. We pray for an end of all violence against humanity and advocate for the abolition of the death penalty in the United States and throughout the world.

Volunteer

Prism is always in need of compassionate souls to join our team of volunteers. In addition to Sunday worship services and individual chaplaincy/spiritual care, we often need volunteers to help write letters and assist in other ways.
