We aim to prepare skilled chaplains, who may otherwise not have access to the education and training traditionally required for chaplains, and then deploy those chaplains into spaces where chaplaincy is traditionally not present or underfunded, like food banks, retail spaces, homeless service centers, jails, subway stations, community health clinics or disaster response.

Spring Cohorts Forming to Beta Test Lay CPE Curriculum
Beginning in February, CFLC will begin our final round of beta testing our adapted CPE curriculum. We're looking for participants who may have some experience with CPE, and who are willing to help us fine-tune our curriculum. Previous grant participants and those who have had formal CPE units are encouraged to contact us. The cohort will run 12 weeks and offers participants a chance to further develop their spiritual care skills.
